Orange county diary - I
Just the other day, we found that in US, if an ambulance or firebrigade is going on the road, all other vehicles stop by the side and give way for those vehicles. We didn't know this and realised it when a paramedic van came speeding behind us, and even we had to jump over a traffic light in order for it to pass through. Somebody told us that those vehicles even have the control over stop lights. It is quite amazing when you think of it.

There is an area called "Little India" on Pioneer Blvd which is an array of Indian shops & restaurants. You suddenly think you have come to a different place. One of the Indian restaurants we visited, looked quite shady when compared to the local ones. I always get this feeling that in a foreign place, we tend to behave differently with our fellow Indians.
